Echo Canyon Resort & Marina is located on the shores of Lake Ouachita, a reservoir created by the Army Corp of Engineers in 1953. Lake Ouachita is the largest lake in Arkansas, and is home to a wide variety freshwater fish such as largemouth bass, crappie, catfish, walleye and world class trophy striped bass. The lake is also a popular spot for scuba diving and underwater exploration, and offers a unique fishing experience during spear season. Our visitors have enjoyed watching the growing population of bald eagles, both from the resort and on the water.
We are just 15 minutes from Historic Hot Springs National Park with its quaint downtown area shops and famous Bathhouse Row, and a short drive from the Quartz Crystal Capital of the World, Mt. Ida. If mountain biking is your sport of choice, we have an abundance of trails throughout the area starting with the LOViT trail.
